My recent New Year's getaway at Hotel Mair in beautiful Valle Aurina was nothing short of delightful. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and considerate staff who truly went above and beyond, even heating the sauna just for me after my late arrival; what a lovely touch! The room had a cozy aesthetic with stunning views of the mountains, making it the perfect retreat after a busy day exploring the Dolomites. Breakfast was a highlight, with a spectacular variety of colourful fruits and fresh vegetables that certainly tantalized my taste buds - fresh strawberries and juicy melons were particular standouts. It's the little details, like the charming fresh tulips on every table, that made this experience feel quite special. As for activities, we took advantage of the well-developed hiking trails right from the doorstep, and I must say, the magic of winter in this area can't be overstated. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Mair; its price-value ratio is impressive, and the serene environment and thoughtful amenities make it a true gem for both nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. It's a lovely place to create memorable moments, whether with family or friends!
